How Does Fire Detection System Work in Bus Fires?

Smoke Sensors: Smoke sensors continuously monitor the secrecy of the air inside the bus. The main function of this is to detect the detection of smoke and an abnormal increase in smoke density. Smoke sensors give an alarm when the smoke exceeds a certain distance and this alarm informs the passengers of the danger.

Temperature Sensors: ALAS FIRE temperature sensors detect excessive temperature increases inside the bus. When a set temperature is exceeded, an alarm is triggered. This helps to detect the initial stage of a fire or other heat sources.  

ALAS FIRE prefers linear sensor-sensing-cable in the fire extinguishing kit. The cable is designed with the technique of melting and contacting 2 different insulated, spiralling cable strands at the desired temperature and creating a short circuit. There are models of this cable that detect at different temperatures such as 88 C, 105 C and 185 C. However, 185 C is used in bus engines. It is routed according to risk analyses. Detection is made in all areas where it is routed.

Flame Sensors: Some systems offer flame detection feature. These flame sensors detect the flame inside the bus and quickly alarm. Flame sensors play a vital role for early detection and intervention. These systems provide early warning by detecting the flame inside the bus.  

Gas Detection Sensors: It is used to detect dangerous gases leaking in buses. They warn against gas leaks, especially in gas-powered vehicles.
